THE IMPRESSION 2 UPDATE !

Thursday (6/23/16) Topaz released Topaz Impression 2, an updated version of their painterly effect software, complete with new features. As always, their update is free to anyone who already owns Impression. And for those who don’t own it, Impression 2 will be on sale (40% off!) from June 23rd - July 7th.

Topaz Impression generates natural painterly effects by painting brushstrokes one at a time. (It just does this very fast!) Impression can paint over 10,000 brushstrokes in less than a second, all while completely following your artistic direction, making truly personal art that you can call your own.

Vanguard 263 Tripod

Looking for a tripod? The Vanguard 263 AT Tripod – great all around tripod, especially great for Macro photography TRIPOD ALTA PRO 263AT. http://tinyurl.com/cuchara-huntsvanguard

This tripod has unmatched stability and flexibility, enabling more angle possibilities than ever before. Its innovative Multi-Angle Central Column (MACC) System allows users to move the central column from zero to 180-degree angles in variable vertical and horizontal positions making macro-photography and special wide-angle shots a breeze. The Instant Swivel Stop-n-Lock (ISSL) System securely repositions the central column in one simple movement, in just a few seconds, while maintaining the tripod's stability. Other features include advanced camera vibration and shock control, legs that adjust to 25, 50 and 80-degree angles, patented premium magnesium die-cast canopy and head, hexagon-shaped central column for extra stability, and non-slip, spiked rubber feet for changing terrains and a removable hook for hanging camera accessories. Alta Pro 263AT is aluminum alloy and has quick-flip leg locks.

“I hate the fact that I love the photographs that I get using my tripod”. Lisa

Carrying a tripod is a pain, it is cumbersome, no matter what one you own it is heavy, and awkward, and never seems to be in the right position. It slows me down, which can actually be GOOD. It can make me that much more noticeable as a photographer (and sometimes I don’t want to be). But commit to taking your tripod with you everywhere and the quality of your images will go up. They will be sharper, and you will be more creative, and you can play with long exposures to make people disappear and clouds move and your HDR images line up.
