Tom created these images below today using his TG7. http://tinyurl.com/lisatomTG7
He utilized the underwater toughness to place the camera in the flooded road at sunset.
The Ultra Resilient TG-7 is built to perform in harsh conditions:
-- IPX8-rated waterproof for underwater use to depths of 50’
-- Freezeproof to temperatures as low as 14°F
-- Shockproof to drops from as high as 7'
-- Crushproof to withstand pressure up to 220 lbf
-- Dustproof to protect the internal components of the camera
-- Anti-fog design prevents condensation from forming inside the lenses
Tom also loves using the Expansive Macro System of the TG7 which has four macro shooting modes for capturing scenes up close. "Select Microscope mode to capture images with an incredibly short minimum focusing distance of 0.39". To zoom up to 44x closer, switch to Microscope Control mode. Utilize Focus Stacking mode to merge multiple images and create one photo with great depth of field. Focus Bracketing allows you to capture up to 30 images at various focus points which can then be composited in post-production. Having these macro capabilities at your disposal makes it easy to capture the finest details of your subject and visualize creative perspectives that are unfamiliar to the naked eye."
